Mia became fifteen years old and so she made a plan that she will quit a lot of things, for example, ”Stop biting my nails. Make decent grades. etc” Mia is very impatient about Michael hasn’t invited her to go to the prom yet. Her friends are inviting. She doesn’t have time to prepare. She always prays to God.
I recall that when my birthday is coming, I care that my friends remember, or not. Also I care that my friends give me presents, or not. But it is also my pleasure. But in Mia’s case, she is not enjoyment about it. She became fifteen years old and she thinks she is not young. Her friends look very happy and preparing to go to the prom.

I also like it when people remember my birthday. Actually, I don't care whether they remember my birthday; it's simply nice to get attention from friends and family anytime. As I get older, I still want the attention, but I don't want to think about birthdays and age. I guess I can't be particular about the context that brings the attention. I always tell my wife not to plan a celebration for my birthday but in my heart I hope that she does.
I remember my 15th birthday. I was in Korea at that time, and Korean teenagers have special birthday party such as hit birthday person because we wish that evil sprits will go away from our body if we hit birthday person.
