1st Independent Reading Response

I'm reading a book, named "Princess in Pink" by Meg Cabot.
I chose this book, because I like its book cover. This book cover is pink an so it is very cute.
Then I read summary of backside of this book. I'm interesting that sentence, this book shows "Will the strike end in time? Can Mia talk Michael out of his anti-prom views? Most importantly, will Mia get to wear her pink prom dress?" I want to know answers of these questions.
And then I read first page of this book. I thought this book doesn't have vocabularies which I don't know so much. So I can read this book and chose it.

I read 19 pages. I got information of main character. Her name is Mia. She is has a boyfriend, named Michael. She is waiting that he will invite prom. She hope romance situation, and so she can not invite him. She like to image future. Even I have just started reading, however I can enjoy this book and I'm interesting next.
